National Memorial Arboretum
The dedication event will take place at the National Memorial Arboretum (Alrewas), on Saturday 18 April 2015. All are welcome to attend, plus of course family and friends. Although it has been necessary to set a cap of 90 persons regarding catering in the Rose Room, numbers attending the Dedication are not restricted and the adjacent café/restaurant will be available to all; the Rose Room will not be in any way ‘off limits’.

Rig: Suit/Jacket/Blazer with tie, medals may be worn.
1030 Onward – Meet up in the Rose Room at the Visitor Centre – Tea/coffee & biscuits.
1115 – Welcome by the Chairman and introduction of our new President Sir Rob Woodard and F4 Padre Canon Clive French.
1120 – Move to the memorial site.
1130 – Dedication service at the memorial – President and Padre.
1200 – Return to Visitor Centre
1230 – Buffet Lunch in the Rose Room – ticket holders only
1330 Onward – Tour the arboretum at will. It is a very large site so use the NMA website to familiarise yourself beforehand. There is a land train tour available and also guided tours by NMA volunteers may be pre booked by groups of up to 15 at a pre-paid cost of £3.00 pp. Details on the NMA website – www.thenma.org.uk.
1500 – Committee only – meeting in the Rose Room.
1700 – Arboretum closes
The Rose Room (within the Visitor Centre and leading off the café/restaurant), has been booked for our ticket holders sole use all day Saturday.
Tea and coffee will be available from 1000.
A hot buffet lunch will be provided with seating for 90 (tables of 10).
NMA entry is free but there is a charge of £15.00 per head to cover refreshments on arrival and lunch in the Rose Room. Club funds will pay for the Rose Room hire and subsidise the catering but there is only room for 90 so book early! The café/restaurant next door has plenty of capacity for any unlucky latecomers.
Tickets will be required for entry to the Rose Room in the form of an e-ticket which will be sent out by the Treasurer. We previously received expressions of interest a little in excess of 90 persons so please book your places as soon as possible. The website will be updated regularly with names and numbers.
Payment of £15.00 per head should be made by Cheque or Bank Transfer. PayPal payment will not be enabled for this event. All attendees’ names need to be given to enable tickets to be provided.
