Pre-Reunion HMS Ambuscade update @ 1900:

AMBUSCADE PROJECT UDATE

At 19:00 prior to the commencement of the evening activities on Saturday Duncan Lustig-Prean will give a short presentation and take questions about the Ambuscade repatriation project.
He served in ARROW, ALACRITY & AMBUSCADE in the 1980’s and is now a trustee and director of maritime operations for Clyde Naval Heritage which is tasked with bringing Ambuscade home.

Evening Reunion – 1930 – 2355.

  • 2000 – Down bar shutters – Chairman’s Welcome
  • o/c – President’s Welcome, crossed-the-bar (Peter Godwin), telegrams (Peter Mosse)
  • Tot Time/ Up Spirits – First up, those who drew a tot on 31 July 1970.
  • o/c (2015) – Ship group photographs
  • 2045 – Hot Buffet.
    • Menu – maintaining hot buffet: Chicken Curry, Beef Bourguignonne and Mushroom Bourguignonne with Rice, Chips and garlic bread. Cheese & biscuits with grapes to follow
  • Cash bar. Bar extension arranged.  Last orders 2345, close 2355.  15mins to drink up and clear premises by 0010
  • 2200 – Raffle & £100 prize draw using Eventbrite order numbers.
